In this original artwork, I took the best of my anatomical knowledge of the human body and combined it with what I know from the medical literature (and my own experience working with patients) on how grounding supports our entire digestive tract and our metabolism.

The moment any part of our body comes in contact with the earth, our vagal tone gets a boost, our parasympathetic nervous system becomes regulated, and our metabolism is immediately supported. This results in your food being processed, moved along, and digested more easily.  In addition, because grounding reduces inflammation, food absorption is also optimized.  This all translates into our blood sugars stabilizing, our weight loss efforts more supported (I've had many patients lose weight simply by grounding daily,) a reduction in heartburn and bloating, and even our thyroid function gets a boost.  We feel more satiated, we feel less bloated and inflamed, and we feel in balance... our deepest cravings finally met.

It's such a beautiful relationship between the earth and our digestive process that I decided to paint it.  In this gallery wrapped canvas, I painted the vibrancy and health of our digestive tract when grounded, showing our organs respond in health and vibrancy as they are supported by Mother Nature's healing energy, and I use gold accents to make movement this come alive and remind you to get outside to eat whenever you possibly can.  If you need a reminder to drink your morning coffee outside in the mornings, or to eat your lunch break outside, or encouragement to take picnic dinners outside on the weekends, this painting is for you.
